To be successful in marketing & sales, you must see the prospect as a partner and not as an opponent.
1. Eliminates anxiety.The brain loves the options. A salesperson should always have more than one option up their sleeve. This will help you to have more confidence and less anxiety when making the deal. If you do not look hopeless, you can confidently win by leading the negotiations to the point where the potential customer ends up convincing the seller to do business together.
